Learning Outcomes- at the end of the project the students will able to:
1. Demonstrate the different techniques of separation and appreciate their use in daily life.
2. Identify different techniques for purification of water and compare these for cities and villages of India and two other chosen countries.
3. Explore the dairy techniques used for separation of components of milk and identify the types of mixtures.

Activity 1

1. Field trip and research work on separating techniques used during harvesting season in villages of India, Pakistan and Canada.
2. The students will carry out research work in small groups and present their work in form of a picture story/video/power point presentation to entire class. They will also use the template project on separation techniques.
